You want to grow closer to God.
So why is it so hard?

  • You open your Bible, but you're unsure what the passage means.

THE COLLECTION

Find your journal

Men's and women's editions follow the same books, so couples can read together. Start with any series. For the most natural progression, we recommend beginning with Series One and working through them in order, since some longer books of the Bible continue across journals.

WHY “12:2”?

“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”

ROMANS 12:2 · ESV

Every day, the world tries to shape how we think. Romans 12:2 tells us that real change happens as God renews our minds through His Word. The 12:2 Journal is built around that promise. Each day you read a short passage and answer five questions: the key verse that spoke to you, what the passage says about God, what it says about you, how to apply it, and one step of faith you can take today. Then you turn it into prayer. Weekly reviews help you look back, and milestone pages help you finish well.

MEET YOUR GUIDE

A pastor who knows how hard it is to stay in the Word

After nearly 30 years of pastoral ministry, I've met countless believers who love God and want to read the Bible, but feel stuck, guilty, or unsure where to begin. I created the 12:2 Journal to give them a simple, proven way to meet God in Scripture every day. I'm Bartley Wooten, lead pastor of Beulaville Baptist Church in North Carolina. I hold a PhD in Applied Theology, have taught Old Testament at Fruitland Baptist Bible College, and have written small group curriculum for LifeWay.

ONE PAGE, TODAY

One year from now, what will be different?

Picture a Bible that's worn from use, pages filled with prayers God has answered, and a faith that's steady instead of stuck. It starts with one page, today.
